I am a Chartered Accountant. The bat and ball enamoured me even as a baby. I was so fascinated by the game of cricket that the cake for my 1st birthday was in the shape of a bat. I have been guilty of faking illnesses to bunk school so that I could watch India play. My fascination quickly became a dream - to represent the country as a cricketer. I got myself enrolled in a cricket academy and would spend a couple of hours daily, perfecting the art of batting. In a couple of years, I was selected to train at my state's premier coaching facility - The KSCA Academy. I went on to captain my school cricket team and represent various clubs in different leagues in Bangalore. However, after completing my 12th grade, I decided to pursue Chartered Accountancy, which meant that cricket could no longer be my priority. This was where I found my flair for writing content on the game. I aim for my content to be able to nurture perspectives and facilitate healthy discussions amongst my readers.
