Sattyik is an Indian Sports and Indian Football journalist at Sportskeeda who has a work experience of around 3 years. He pursued his MA degree in Journalism and Mass Communication to realize his dream of becoming a sports journalist and has previously plied his trade as an intern at The Bridge and as a Content Associate in Khel Now.

He is a believer of relaying accurate information and being punctual with his work, and is always on the lookout for a fresh story. He has so far covered three Indian Super League (ISL) editions, one Durand Cup tournament, and a host of international football competitions, while also interviewing numerous Indian and foreign footballers such as Alberto Noguera, Carl McHugh, Odei Onaindia, Niall Goghavala, among others.

Sattyik, who reveres Moti Nandi and Ravish Kumar as his journalistic heroes, grew up watching cricket, football, basketball, and badminton due to his parents' love for sports, his mother being a Basketball player in her school days. An ardent politics enthusiast and a voracious reader, he played football at a local academy during his childhood and used to be a guitarist and singer in his college days.
