Washington, Feb 13 (IANS): Boston Celtics guard Leandro Barbosa will be out for the rest of the National Basketball Association (NBA) season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his knee.
The 30-year-old suffered the left knee injury during Monday’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats, reports Xinhua.
He is the third Celtics player lost for the season due to injury. Rajon Rondo also suffered a torn ACL last month and back surgery has put out Jared Sullinger.
