Team Cuba look to salvage their WBC campaign as Team Panama look to make waves
Cuba has a rich history in baseball, having won gold at the Olympics on three occasions and finishing runners-up in the first edition of the WBC in 2006. Led by former Mets star Yoenis Céspedes, they do have a fighting chance.
Panama may not have the same storied past as Cuba but they certainly have one of the more exciting squads in the tournament. Their player-to-watch is 22-year-old Dodgers outfielder Jose Ramos, who has been dominant in the MLB in recent years.
