The Czech Republic will start their 2023 World Baseball Classic (WBC) campaign against Team China on March 12. The Pool B game will begin at 12 p.m. local time and will be played at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.

Team China lost their first game of the tournament against group favorites Team Japan and will look to bounce back. They will not be too discouraged by their loss because they can still aim for second place in the group.

For the Czech Republic, it will be their first appearance in the tournament and they will look to make a positive start. The second Pool B match of the day will be played between South Korea and Japan.

While Team Japan are the favorites to win the group and look well on their way to doing so, the second spot is up for grabs. Both South Korea and China will try to bag second place in the group. The Czech Republic, on the other hand, have the potential to be the surprise package of the tournament.

Here's the television schedule for the next few days of the tournament:

March 10, 12 p.m. Czech Republic vs. China

March 10, 7 p.m. Korea vs. Japan

March 11, 12 p.m. China vs. Australia

March 11, 7 p.m. Czech Republic vs. Japan

March 12, 7 p.m. Japan vs. Australia

March 13, 12 p.m. Australia vs. Czech Republic

There are several options online to watch the live stream of the 2023 WBC. Both Hulu and Prime Video are among the platforms broadcasting the tournament. Additionally, FuboTV is another live streaming service that offers multiple channels to watch the games live.

WBC debutants Czech Republic ready to make a splash while China aim for glory

The Czech Republic are competing in the WBC for the first time and can be counted on to play fearlessly. They have MLB experience in the form of veteran infielder Eric Sogard.

Team China, meanwhile, will look to improve on their disappointing performances from the 2017 tournament. Though they lost their first game against Japan, they will have plenty of chances to get back on track in the tournament, starting with their next game against the Czech Republic.
