Former San Francisco Giants player Aubrey Huff played 13 seasons in Major League Baseball. The World Series champion was once dissatisfied with the club’s decision when they decided to keep a female coach.

In a 2020, Huff posted a tweet which clearly mentioned that he wasn’t ok with the Giants manager’s decision to hire former Sacramento State softball player Alyssa Nakken.

Couldn’t imagine taking baseball instruction from an ex female softball player. Have fun with that @bcraw35 @bbelt9 @BusterPosey” – Aubrey Huff

Huff’s tweet was in response to another tweet which said:

"I got in trouble for wearing a thong in my own clubhouse when female reporters were present. Can’t imagine how it will play out with a full time female coach running around. This has #metoo & #BelieveAllWomen written all over it. Only in @SFGiants” – Aubrey Puff

Huff has always remained in the headlines.

"We live in a country that is under attack. Society is desperately trying to take away our 1st Amendment, our freedom of speech, and our freedom of political association."

After 13 Major League Baseball seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays, Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, and Giants, Huff made his last league appearance in 2012. He officially announced his retirement in 2014. He concluded his career with 242 home runs.
