As a freshman in 2023, Isaiah Timothy Jackson racked up eight home runs and 28 RBIs in 53 games for the Arizona State Sun Devils baseball team in the Pac-12 Conference. Moreover, Jackson was also included in the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team after the season because of his impressive fielding skills. The highlight of the season included a walk-off grand slam to defeat Oregon State whilst becoming the first player do so for the Sun Devils since the 2000 season.
Prior to starting his college baseball career, Jackson had been one of the prominent players for his high school baseball team, Cienega Bobcats where he was honored with All-Southern Arizona All-Star Team honors . At the same time, he was chosen as the 2nd best overall prospect in Arizona. Moreover, he was also drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 18th round of the 2022 MLB draft. However, he declined it and chose college baseball to further develop himself as a player and increase his draft rankings in the future. He is presently in his sophomore year with Arizona State University.
