Today's injury updates from across the MLB are headlined by the health of one of the top names rumored to be available at the trade deadline. Another injury update comes in regarding the health of one of the top pitchers in the league who has yet to throw an inning this season. Here's a closer look at some notable injury updates from across the MLB.

MLB Injury Updates from July 11

#1. Bo Bichette

The Toronto Blue Jays will be without star shortstop Bo Bichette for the next few games. Manager John Schnieder revealed that the superstar suffered a right calf fascia strain. The team remains optimistic that he will avoid an IL stint. The fact that he may have avoided major injury could be massive as Bichette has been in trade rumors all season.

#2. Kodai Senga

The New York Mets could soon have their top pitcher back as Kodai Senga is slated to make his third rehab start. The Japanese star will reportedly throw 60-65 pitches during his next rehab appearance. Senga has yet to pitch for the New York Mets this season.

#3. Starling Marte

The second Mets star to appear on this list, Starling Marte continues to work his way back from a right knee bone bruise. Mets manager Carlos Mendoza provided an injury update on Marte, telling the media that a recent MRI revealed that there has been improvement in the area. For the moment, Marte remains less than 100% but is continuing light work.

#4. German Marquez

Another pitcher who could soon be making his season debut is German Marquez of the Colorado Rockies. One of the longest-tenured players in the Rockies organization, Marquez has been working his way back from Tommy John Surgery and could be activated from the IL as soon as July 14.

#5. Devin Williams

The Milwaukee Brewers have announced that superstar closer Devin Williams will begin a minor-league rehab assignment this weekend. He has been on the IL all season after sustaining two stress fractures in his back. Williams will appear for the Brewers' High-A affiliate, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
