Spring Training is underway and we are seeing the new pitch clock in action, and New York Yankees star Aaron Judge is a supporter. The clock has already taken a significant amount of time off Spring Training games, which was the intent behind the rule. We won't be able to see how it truly affects batters and pitchers until the regular season begins.
This season will see more changes to the game itself than any in recent memory, maybe any in history. It will take some time for fans and players alike to adjust to the changes. A team's ability, or inability, to adjust could be the difference between a winning or losing season.
Bleacher Report shared a quote from Aaron Judge, who believes everybody will benefit from the new rules.

Aaron Judge is quickly becoming one of the faces of MLB, so his voice carries plenty of weight. Fans have been rather divided on the ever-present clock in Spring Training, and players have already made some mistakes.
San Diego Padres slugger Manny Machado was the first to take a strike call without a pitch even being thrown. A game between the Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves ended in a tie due to a clock infraction. As time goes on, the hope is that these mistakes will be less and less until they become exceedingly rare.
Between the ban of the defensive shift and the new pitch clock, offenses could look very different in 2023. Almost every player will have to adjust their typical routine during the at-bat. Even if it is only a slight adjustment, it could have major ramifications for some players' performances.
Aaron Judge is a fan of the new rule changes, but not every fan agrees with the New York Yankees superstar.
Can New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge repeat his 2022 success in 2023?

Aaron Judge is coming off one of the best offensive seasons of all time, and now the question is whether or not he can do it again. Doing so would propel him toward becoming an MLB legend and one of the greatest players of this generation. The New York Yankees are obviously targeting a World Series this season, which they hope Judge can lead them to.
With the new rules in place, it will be tough for some players to hit the ground running. If Judge is able to do so, he will set himself, and his team, up for a great season.
