MLB's No. 1 prospect Jackson Holliday's major league debut may not have panned out the way he and the Baltimore Orioles would have liked, but he has found his hitting groove again in the minors. Now all that's left for him is to match his performance in the minors and translate it into major league level.
While he may be busy crushing home runs in MiLB, his wife, Chloe, is posting about his off-field life. On Wednesday, the duo went out for shopping and accidentally rocked similar outfits. Both wore skin-toned uppers over black jeans and white sneakers. Moreover, Chloe can be seen carrying a HydroJug sipper.
"Accidentally twinned haha," she wrote in her story.
Chloe regularly shares snaps from their off-field line, from their sushi date nights to wearing unique outfits. The two have known each other since high school and married earlier this year, on Jan. 6, at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan, Florida.
Jackson Holliday's sixth MiLB home run was for "Coconut," per Chloe
The small family of Holliday also has a unique furry friend named "Cocount." In Holliday's most recent start against the Gwinnett Stripers, the Orioles prospect hit a no-doubter in the leadoff spot, adding his home run tally to six.
This took place in the presence of Chloe and Coconut, who were at the stadium cheering for Jackson Holliday. Chloe said that the homer was for Coconut.
Holliday has played in 27 Triple-A games leading up to Wednesday night's game against Gwinnett. Since his demotion from the majors on Apr. 27, he has been batting .243, including four home runs and 11 RBI.
“I don’t think I’m far off,” Holliday said. “I don’t think I have been far off the whole time. I think it’s just the little adjustments. That’s usually how it is in baseball. I’m happy with the progress that I made towards the end of the week in Worcester.”
While Jackson Holliday continues to showcase his prowess in minors , his ability to translate the form to the majors is what will matter eventually. The Orioles need his abilities in the majors, and a call-up could be around the corner.
