“Another baby Blue Jay!”; “That is awesome” - Blue Jays fans congratulate Justin Turner and wife Kourtney on expecting their first child

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Justin Turner is awaiting the arrival of his first child with his wife, Kourtney. According to reporter Hazel Mae, Kourtney is in labor in Toronto and the couple will soon welcome a member to their household.

"Justin Turner is with his wife Kourtney, who is in labour here in Toronto. The couple is expecting their first child. Best wishes to the Turners," Mae shared on X.

Blue Jays fans on the internet sent congratulatory wishes to the Turner family.

"Another baby Blue Jay! ♥️🇨🇦💙," one fan commented.

"Hey - a Canadian Turner baby! That is awesome," another wrote.

"Wishing the Turners the very best for a safe delivery. So awesome that they wanted their child born here for dual citizenship," one Canadian citizen wrote.

Love was sent to the Turner family from his former team, Boston, as well.

"Congratulations to the Turners from a Red Sox fan! Love Justin Turner!" one fan added.

Justin Turner and Kourtney informed fans about expecting their first child

Earlier in March, Justin Turner and Kourtney informed fans about their pregnancy in a joint Instagram post.

Turner and Kourtney dated for a while before getting married in 2017 on a beach in Mexico. Orel Hershiser, a former LA Dodgers broadcaster, conducted the ceremony.

After coming off a strong season with the Red Sox, Justin Turner signed a one-year, $13 million contract with the Blue Jays in the offseason.

This season, Turner is hitting .250, including five home runs, 27 RBIs and 37 walks. This has been a slightly down year for Turner, who batted .276 in 146 games played last season.

Nevertheless, the Turner family has a reason to celebrate, with the family expanding soon.
