Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. is fully healthy and having fun at Spring Training. A clip of Acuna Jr. calling his own strike zone while in the batting cage, debating coach Eric Young and teammates about the limitations of the pitch machine, have Braves fans primed to see the young superstar in action.
Acuna Jr., who recently turned 25, is coming off a season where he hit .266 with 15 homers and 29 stolen bases over 119 games. It was his first year back after tearing an ACL just a few days before the 2021 All-Star break.

While Ronald Acuna Jr.'s 2022 wasn't a bad season, it wasn't up to the standards that the 2018 National League Rookie of the Year expects of himself. He told MLB.com's Mark Bowman that he's ready to get himself fully back on track:
"I’m beyond excited and happy. I think my face says it all. I feel like it’s been two years to this point since I felt completely healthy. So, I’m really excited."
Atlanta Braves fans are happy to see Acuna Jr. "beyond excited and happy" as well.
As one of the more extroverted players in MLB, Acuna Jr. generally keeps things entertaining.
If Acuna Jr. returns to the form he had in 2019, Atlanta Braves fans will be ecstatic. Back then, he came within three bases of becoming the fifth 40-homer, 40-stolen base performer in MLB history. Acuna led the NL by being caught 11 times attempting steals in 2022.
No matter what, Acuna Jr. and the Braves are forever intertwined in the minds of baseball fans. Some fans might not care about his antics, but no one can deny that he keeps things lively.
Ronald Acuna Jr., Atlanta Braves hoping for a big season

Acuna Jr. and the Braves are in a good place to once again challenge for both the National League and World Series titles. Atlanta won the MLB championship in 2021, despite having Acuna Jr. for just 82 games.
The Braves may have to wait a bit though. Acuna Jr. was listed on Team Venezuela's final roster for the upcoming World Baseball Classic. Acuna Jr. told The Athletic in January that he probably wouldn't be able to play in the WBC. However, he was cleared by Atlanta's medical staff to take part in the tournament this March.
