Former Los Angeles Dodgers star Justin Turner recently captured the hearts of fans once again with his reaction to a touching story shared by a fan on social media. Turner’s dramatic walk-off home run during the 2017 National League Championship Series not only became a memorable moment in baseball history but also played an important role in a fan's wedding engagement.

On Oct. 15, 2017, Turner hit a three-run walk-off home run against the Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of the NLCS, leading the Dodgers to a thrilling 4-1 victory.

The moment was not just important in terms of the series, but it became one of the best moments of Turner’s career and a lasting memory for Dodgers fans. The home run helped push the Dodgers to the World Series that year.

On Monday on X, a fan wrote about how he watched the game in excitement during his time in his college dorm and how his current partner who was his neighbor at the time thought that he was being attacked by someone as she rushed to help him. The event led them to start talking and ending up together.

Turner replied to the fan on X:

"Wow….Well you are welcome!!! Congratulations."
