Former Philadelphia Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. believes that Trea Turner and Bryson Stott will enjoy a highly successful season in 2025.

Amaro predicted that Turner will hit about 30 home runs and drive in close to 100 RBIs besides scoring over 100 runs this year to finish in the top-three of the MVP race. He also predicted that Bryson Stott to be the leadoff-hitter for the Phillies on Opening Day and will end up with the batting title in the National League at the the end of the season.

Amaro offered his bold predictions for the upcoming campaign on The Phillies Show:

"Trea Turner is going to bounce back and be a top three in the MVP voting. This guy is a really good player. I think that he's going to bounce back and have a phenomenal year.
"I think (Bryson Stott) is going to make a run at the batting title in 2025. I think his elbow is going to be healthy. I think he's going to make a readjustment. I love the player because I know he wants to be really good," Amaro Jr. said. "I think he's going to make a run, and he's going to do it out of the one-hole."

Trea Turner had a solid campaign for the Phillies in the regular season but failed to live up to expectations in the playoffs. Meanwhile, Bryson Stott stayed below par throughout the year, as he didn't seem to have fully recuperated from an elbow injury sustained earlier.

Ruben Amaro Jr. is confident that Turner will earn more than 30 stolen bases for the Philadelphia Phillies in 2025 even though he has achieved the feat just once in the past five seasons.

He expects Bryson Stott to also accomplish the same after he posted consecutive seasons with over 30 steals this year.

"I think Trea Turner is going to have 30 home runs. I think he's going to have at least 30 bags," Amaro Jr. said. "I think he's going to drive in close to a hundred runs. I think he's going to score well more than 100 runs. I think he's going to have a phenomenal season. I think he's going to be a top-three in the MVP (race).
"Bryson Stott is my guy," he added. "He's also going to steal 30 bags."

Turner is expected to remain as the shortstop for the Phillies this season, with Stott also keeping hold of the second baseman position.
