The New York Mets catcher Francisco Alvarez posted a series of snaps on Thursday welcoming the new year. Alvarez shared being thankful for the people around him and also for the one who's coming along soon. Alvarez is getting ready to become a father this year, as his partner Nahomi Rojas is now pregnant.
Alvarez posted 10 pictures on Instagram, where the first couple of pictures are him cradling his pregnant partner from behind her. Then in the next picture, he can be seen posing with his parents and girlfriend.
After that, he also shared some snaps with a baby. He also added a picture with a group of friends, and captioned the post with a beautiful message:
"A new year, new goals, new dreams, new challenges. Thank you dad. God is your glory, will always be your glory. My dear God, mom, dad and family I love you," Alvarez wrote in Spanish.

Both of them donned white, as Nahomi wore a white bodycon off-shoulder dress, while Alvarez sported a white T-shirt and white shorts. There was also a wall of white balloons in the background of the pictures.
Francisco Alvarez was signed by the Mets as an international free agent in 2018. He made his major league debut in 2022. He hit .237 with 11 home runs and 47 RBIs in 100 games for the Mets last season.
