New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is not only one of the finest all-round players in the game today, he is also among the most style-conscious superstars in the MLB. The four-time All-Star has endorsement deals with New Balance and Oakley, while he also attended a Louis Vuitton party at the Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.

Now Francisco Lindor has named third baseman Mark Vientos as the best-dressed teammate in the New York Mets clubhouse. Lindor apparently appreciates the avant-garde style that Vientos effuses in his dressing.

"Vientos," Lindor replied. "He's doing a good job.
"He has a very elevated look to him. So, I really like the way he dresses," he added.

Mark Vientos enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in 2024 and will be a cornerstone of the Mets lineup this season. He batted .266/.322/.516 last year, producing 27 home runs and 71 RBIs in just 111 games, along with an OPS+ of 135.

During the interview, Francisco Lindor explained his interest in fashion and how it allows him to express his personality. He feels that the interest it generates among the fans on social media encourages him further.

"I think it has to do a little bit with how social media is covering it," Lindor said. "Since social media coverage is covering a lot of people, a lot of the platforms are starting to talk about it. I think it should be incentivizing athletes to be themselves through how they dress.
"I think that's pretty cool. It shows the way of athletes being who they are," he added. "I think there's a lot more room for athletes to actually show it out. Put it out there a little more."

Francisco Lindor posted an excellent campaign in 2024 with the New York Mets as the team fell just a step short of clinching the National League pennant after losing the Championship Series 4-2 to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Lindor batted .273/.344/.500 during the regular season with 33 home runs, 91 RBIs, and an OPS+ of 138. He also contributed two home runs and eight RBIs in the playoffs and earned a Silver Slugger award besides finishing as the runner-up for the NL MVP behind Shohei Ohtani.
