The Chicago White Sox finally stopped their 12-game losing streak after an enthralling 8-1 victory against the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday. The White Sox visited Oriole Park at Camden Yards and secured the win with three home runs while starting pitcher Jonathan Cannon was a huge help to his team.

The White Sox has been on its way to chasing the most losses suffered by a team in one season which the New York Mets hold with 120 losses. The White Sox currently record 109 losses, but now there is a ray of hope after Nicky Lopez, Andrew Vaughn and Dominic Fletcher hit game-winning home runs.

However, a section of fans online weren't happy with the Orioles' loss against the White Sox, marking their second defeat in the last six games.

Here's how some fans reacted on X/Twitter:

"How do you lose to the White Sox?" one fan asked.
"Get ready for the first round exit in the playoffs. Sadly I feel like a lot of the players will be perfectly fine with that," another fan said.
"I barley watch baseball if at all and know this is embarrassing," another fan mentioned.
"Offense just disappeared.. Gunnar is getting a lot of hits, but not the big hits," one fan said.
"Yeah I guess it was a little much to expect 4 wins in a row," another fan said.
"What a very uneventful loss. Didn’t even make it competitive," a fan added.

Baltimore Orioles pitcher Albert Suárez falls short against White Sox

The Baltimore Orioles had one of their worst starts of the season against the White Sox. Star pitcher Albert Suárez was unable to perform, as he allowed three home runs in just four innings. He subsequently lasted just 4 1/3 frames. The game became Suárez's shortest start and most runs allowed since July 23.

The right-hander expressed that it just wasn't their day and that the White Sox were "aggressive" on Wednesday (via Baltimore Sun):

“Missing location,” Suárez said. “They were aggressive today. They took advantage of that.”

The Orioles have seen a lot of injuries in the pitching department, however, Albert Suárez worked as an anchor for his team. However, that anchor seemed to fall apart. Orioles manager Brandon Hyde addressed Suárez's shortcomings:

"Coming off a seven-inning stint in Colorado, maybe he just wasn’t as sharp tonight," Hyde said.
"We just got beat. They played better than we did. They played with more energy, intensity," he added.

The Orioles came out winning 2-of-3 in the series against the White Sox, however, the win proved to have an impact on Chicago's morale.

Brandon Hyde's team travels to Boston to take on the Red Sox in a three-game series at Fenway Park next, with the opening game set to take place on Friday.
