Major and Minor-Leaguers from every club will be represented at the WBC, with some MLB franchises deciding whether or not their stars will be allowed to participate.

"The smartest thing Brian Cashman has done this offseason is pulling Luis Severino from the WBC and he should’ve done the same with Nestor Cortes. Nestor had a career high in innings last season and ended the year with an injury. It’s more important for him to be in #Yankees camp." - Christian

While several players have already been denied the chance to play at the World Baseball Classic, the Atlanta Braves are not restricting their oft-injured superstar Ronald Acuna Jr. The outfielder will be representing Venezuela, who open their tournament on March 11th against the Dominican Republic.

"Ronald Acuña Jr. will indeed play for Team Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic. The decision was made today. The Braves feel comfortable because they’ll monitor Acuña for a few weeks in camp before he joins his country. And at this point, he’s had no knee issues." - Justin Toscano
