How to unsquad a player in MLB The Show 23? Manage your squad and put assets on the market for sale

MLB The Show 23 has proven itself to be one of the best and most innovative entries into the series, however, it is not without its flaws and frustrating moments. One of those moments can come while trying to sell player cards on the market in the Diamond Dynasty gaming mode.

Buying and selling cards in Diamond Dynasty has long been a staple for building the strongest team possible, or acquiring one's favorite players. However, in order to sell one's assets, one must first make sure that they are not currently in any squads.

While swapping out players for those better suited for a competition or for simply higher overall upgrades, gamers need to rotate their current squad. This can easily be done in the Manage Squad tab, where one will be able to simply sub out their current starting player with one on the bench or a newly acquired one.

Although this process sounds easy enough, it can become a frustrating task while attempting to sell the player once it has been removed from the starting squad. MLB The Show 23 features a variety of competitions and challenges in the Diamond Dynasty mode, with gamers able to create squads solely for certain events.

However, with multiple squads comes the task of removing players from every lineup before they are able to sell the card. While this may not affect all gamers, it can become a monotonous process for the serious players of MLB The Show who have multiple different squads. This problem does not only occur in The Show 23, but in previous iterations as well.

If you are looking to sell your Randy Arozarena cards, make sure you remove them from all of your lineups or you will be prompted with a message that states the player must be removed from the active roster.
