2020 National League Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer has not played in the major leagues since 2021 before he was suspended by the MLB for violating the players' code of conduct. Since serving his 194-game ban, Bauer has been attempting to make his way back with stints in Japan and Mexico while publishing videos on social media to prove he still has the ability to come back to The Show.
This week, Trevor Bauer posted a video on Instagram of him taking on first-round draft pick Christian Moore at his training facility. The fans shared their reactions, with one fan stating that he'd like to see the 34-year-old pitcher challenge Aaron Judge instead of an untested prospect.
Christian Moore was selected as the eighth overall pick of the 2024 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels from the University of Tennessee. In the clip, the 22-year-old second baseman was challenged into taking an at-bat by Trevor Bauer against his fastball. Despite tipping the pitches, Bauer proceeds to strike out Moore with his heater, which was clocked at just over 93 mph.
The fans posted their reactons to the clip on Instagram.
"I want to see Trevor vs. Judge," wrote one fan.
"You should get Ohtani for the next one" one fan suggested.
"Need you back in the league," another fan posted.
Many fans wanted their team to sign Trevor Bauer.
"Blue Jays sign this guy," one fan posted.
"Come to the Angels, we'll take you," another fan said.
"Red Sox, how about we sign this man?" another fans asked.
Trevor Bauer was placed on administrative leave in June 2021 and later suspended from the league following allegations of sexual assault by two women. The Los Angeles Dodgers released the player in January 2023 after he completed his sentence, but no MLB team has approached him with a deal since then.

Trevor Bauer also posted a message to young pitchers along with the video clip in the comments section. Bauer shared his personal experience as a high school player and how he developed himself to earn a college scholarship and forge a career in the MLB.
"High school pitchers, if you're throwing in the low 80s, giving up too many hits, or walking too many people, I know the feeling," he wrote. "Before I was dominating elite hitters like this, I was struggling with the exact same things you are, until I learned something that helped me to gain 16 mph in 16 months, get a full-ride scholarship to college, win a Cy Young Award, and dominate the best hitters on the planet.
"And now I want to teach you how to do it, so I created the 4APP Ultimate Pitching Program," he added.
Bauer designed the 4APP Ultimate Pitching Program, which aims to develop and train young pitchers to improve their skills through 4APP Sports, a revolutionary new tool that has been helping pitchers at all levels to help them with training and recovery.
