Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne returned to the gymnasium after a brief spell away from it. In a couple of stories shared on her Snapchat, the LSU gymnast showcased her practice ahead of her fifth year with the Tigers.

A few weeks back, Livvy Dunne announced on her Instagram page that she was returning to Louisana State for a fifth year. This came right after Paul Skenes was selected as a rookie All-Star. There was speculation, however, of whether the social media star was going to continue her playing career after the LSU gymnastics team won its first-ever NCAA Championship at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.

Olivia Dunne posted two pictures of herself on the mat. In the first picture, she could be seen in black practice attire posing for a selfie with her eyes closed and showing off her heavily strapped right arm. In another snap, fans got a glimpse of the surroundings with a view of the floor section and a few beams in front of her.

With Dunne back to her daily practice, it is expected that fans will get more insights into her daily lifestyle and how she manages to get back into shape for next season.

Olivia Dunne's gymnastics career

Before becoming a fan-favorite influencer on social media, Olivia Dunne had a long history in the world of gymnastics. She was four years old when she was introduced to the sport. In 2014, she finished 20th on the floor and 33rd overall in her first appearance at the U.S. Classic.

Success followed as in 2015 she secured a spot in the National Championships. Dunne was then selected to represent the USA at the junior level. Before her senior year, she also placed ninth at the National Championships in 2017.

In 2020, she joined the LSU Tigers college gymnastics team. Much of her social media fan following can be credited to her routine on the mat. During lockdown, Livvy started posting some of her daily workouts to empower young girls and introduce them to the sport. After four years with the Tigers, she finally won her first championship and announced a final-year extension representing Louisiana State.
