It was a year to remember for veteran pitcher Michael Kopech. A long-time member of the Chicago White Sox, Kopech was dealt before the 2024 MLB Trade Deadline to the Los Angeles Dodgers and enjoyed a career renaissance of sorts.
After alternating between being a starting pitcher and a reliever during his time with the White Sox, he was relied upon strictly out of the bullpen with the Dodgers. Thanks to the move and role change, Kopech was able to win the first World Series title of his career.
It's safe to say that the Kopech family approved of the move, with Michael's daughter Clover rocking a Dodgers cap and also a tie-dyed Adidas outfit. Michael Kopech's wife Morgan shared pictures of the moment on Instagram on Monday.
Born in December last year, Clover will be enjoying her first birthday with her new World Series champion father and the growing Kopech clan.
Clover is the third child of the Kopech family and the second of Michael and Morgan together (she has a child from a previous relationship).
Clover to keep rocking Dodgers blue as Michael Kopech remains with the team for 2025
No one wants to completely change their wardrobe every year. Luckily for little Clover, she will be able to keep rocking the Los Angeles Dodgers cap as her father will be returning to the club for the upcoming season.
After making the jump from the White Sox, Kopech was sensational out of the bullpen, posting a 4-0 record with a 1.13 ERA over 24.0 innings of work while also racking up six saves.
It will be interesting to see what his role will be for the upcoming season as he could emerge as the club's everyday closer, or should at least remain in a high-leverage role.
