Miami Marlins' Jazz Chisholm Jr. has sent a clear message to all the doubters. He has held on to the receipts. Chisholm missed the second half of last year due to a stress fracture in his lower back but looks fit and ready to go for the upcoming season.

The speedy utility player had a strong start to the 2022 season and was rewarded with a selection for his first ever All-Star game.

He was one of the Marlins’ standout players on the offensive side during the early stages of the year. Over 60 games, he recorded 14 home runs, 45 RBIs and 12 stolen bases. Chisholm finished with an impressive .325 OBP and a .860 OPS.

In his latest tweet, Chisholm made it clear he has no time for bandwagon fans. With Opening Day less than a week away, he sounds optimistic and confident about 2023. If Chisholm can stay healthy, he could have a big year with a Miami team that is desperate for a hero.

MLB fans took to Twitter unimpressed with Chisholm's aggressive message to the fans.

Many fans called out the outspoken player for his brash and hubristic message. One fan told him to focus on winning and ignore the noise. Another predicted that the Marlins will go on to lose 100 games.

Jazz Chisholm's tweet is definitely risky. If he fails to deliver this season, expect a serious backlash from the Twitter community.

The Miami Marlins have finished in fourth place in the National League East over the previous two seasons. Last year, they trailed the Atlanta Braves by 32 games at the end of the season.

Aside from the COVID-19 shortened season, the organization has failed to reach the playoffs since 2003. It has been an abysmal run from a franchise that seems to be constantly in rebuild mode.

Competing in a division consisting of the New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves will not be an easy task. Jazz Chisholm Jr. may be wise to stay away from Twitter until his team can string together some wins on the field.
