10. Seattle Mariners
After going on a streak of 8-2, the Seattle Mariners are back in the mix again. Now 14-12, Seattle now leads the AL West for the first time this season. However, despite the fact that their 33 runs scored over the past seven days ranks second in the AL, upcoming clashes against the Braves and D-Backs threatens to extinguish Seattle's great run.
9. Philadelphia Phillies
Another team who has sorted themselves out of late, the Phillies also boast a 8-2 record over their past ten games. Now second in the NL East, 2.5 games behind the Atlanta Braves, the Phillies have their rotation's NL-best 3.35 ERA to thank for their improved record.
8. Los Angeles Dodgers
After committing well over a billion dollars in new contracts this offseason, many expected the Los Angeles Dodgers to have run away with it by now. However, despite leading the league in most meaninful offensive categories, three straight series losses to the Padres, Nationals, and Mets cooled off the team's strong early-season performance.

7. Kansas City Royals
Last season, the Royals' 52 wins was among the lowest in baseball. However, against the odds, KC appears to have turned things around in 2024. Now with a record of 17-10, the Royals are the second-best team in the majors. Veteran catcher Salvador Perez has been leading the way with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs, and an OPS of 1.004, among the highest in the league.
6. Baltimore Orioles
The league-leading 38 home runs slammed by Baltimore Orioles hitters this season lead the MLB. Moreover, manager Brandon Hyde is finding a way to get production throughout his lineup. In all, four players on the O's have at least 5 home runs so far, with two of the names, Colton Cowser and Jordan Westberg being in their rookie campaigns.

5. Chicago Cubs
After missing out on the postseason in the dying days of the 2023 season, the Chicago Cubs have come back with a vengeance in 2024. Now 17-9, the Cubs own the fourth-best record in the MLB. After a convincing sweep of the Houston Astros in Chicago this week, Dansby Swanson's Cubs have won four straight.
4. New York Yankees
The New York Yankees have been able to capitalize on their unique situation of having strong pitching and highly capable hitting. Despite the fact that 2023 AL Cy Young winner Gerrit Cole is yet to throw this year, strong rebounds from Nestor Cortes and Carlos Rodon have been able to supplement the loss. When it comes to offense, the Yankees remain one of the league's most competitive clubs. However, upcoming clashes against the red-hot Brewers and Orioles will provide a solid test of the club's durability.

3. Milwaukee Brewers
It appears as though losing manager Craig Counsell to a divisional rival in the Cubs has not phased Milwaukee. The team's 33 steals this year are among the highest in baseball, and the leaderboard in the category is already looking like a two-horse race between Brice Turang and Elly De La Cruz of the Reds. At 12-4, the Brewers also sport the best road record in the league.

2. Cleveland Guardians
The youngest team in MLB is finally playing like it. Pitching has been unbelievably sound, with only the Mariners besting Cleveland's 91 runs against figure. The team's offense has been driven by Andres Gimenez, Jose Ramirez, and Josh Naylor, who is beginning to look like a future MVP candidate.
1. Atlanta Braves
Though they took some time to warm up, the Atlanta Braves are once again playing like MLB's most feared team. After setting a record for team slugging percentage last season, the Braves are swinging again. 9-1 over their last ten, players like Marcell Ozuna have been contributing in a big way by hitting 31 RBIs, currently the most in MLB.
