New York Mets outfielder and first baseman Mark Canha, who also happens to be a food blogger, is set to come to the aid of baseball fans through his culinary book.
If you take a glance through Canha's Instagram profile, all you will see are pictures of different cuisines. Evidently, he's a gastronome. Interestingly, his IG bio is in sync with his hobby. It reads:
"Hittin' dingers ⚾️and crushing food along the way."
"I’ve found the best breakfast restaurant there is. Introducing @nep.cafe in Fountain Valley, CA." - Mark Canha
Apparently, the responses he has received from his Instagram followers inspired him to write his new culinary book.
“I get messages all the time on my Instagram and Twitter, saying ‘Hey Mark, I’m coming to a certain city to watch one of your games. Where should I go eat?’ That’s the tough thing about Instagram."
According to Canha, baseball fans who are food lovers will be easily able to chart out places to eat from his upcoming culinary book.
"You can’t just look up a city on someone’s page. This way, you can go to the table of contents and see where you want to go.”
Canha also mentioned that he’s fully focusing his book on cities that have MLB teams.
“I decided to keep the focus on baseball cities because most of my following is baseball fans. They don’t always know where to go on the road, so this will address that.”
