New York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson didn't have the season he, or the fans, were expecting last year. In 132 games, he hit .222/.308./.374 with 15 home runs.His .222 average is tied for the lowest of his career. He just didn't see the ball well last season. Most managers would be out on a a struggling and aging player, but not Aaron Boone. The Yankees will roll out a rotation of Gerrit Cole, Rodon, Luis Severino, Nestor Cortes and Domingo German.They also have Frankie Montas, but he's been sidelined since getting shoulder surgery. There's a chance he could return to the rotation at some point this season, but that is yet to be determined.One of the more under-the-radar players for this team is outfielder Harrison Bader. He only played in 14 games for the Yankees after being traded by the St. Louis Cardinals at last year's trade deadline. They're excited to get a full season from him.The New York Yankees have the roster to make a deep run this year. If Josh Donaldson can bounce back, the team could be a real contender.
