The Philadelphia Phillies signed Bryce Harper to a contract that will end when he is 38 years old, but they may have to extend him. Harper has made it clear that he plans to be with the Phillies and their passionate fans for a long time as he hopes to play into his 40s. This would be an impressive feat for any professional athlete, especially one of Harper's caliber.Bryce Harper has been one of the top offensive players in baseball since his Rookie of the Year campaign in 2012. The two-time MVP and seven-time All-Star has exceeded all expectations and is still in the prime of his career. He will miss much of this upcoming season due to injury but should be able to return toward the end.
