Alex Rodriguez pays tribute to James Earl Jones

Renowned actor James Earl Jones died at the age of 93 on Monday. Numerous baseball stars, including Alex Rodriguez, paid their respects to the star. In a tweet on his profile on X, A-Rod reposted a clip from the "Field of Dreams" movie.

"Rest in peace James Earl Jones," Rodriguez wrote.

Jones played a major character, Terence Mann, in the film. The actor was also part of the stage production "Fences," where he played a former Negro Leagues player turned sanitation worker. In 1993, he again took up a similar role of an ex-Negro Leagues player in the comedy film "The Sandlot."
