In an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, Kershaw revealed his beardless appearance in a picture of him posing with his wife, Ellen, and children, Cali Ann, Charley, Cooper and Chance.

"Merry Christmas!" Kershaw wrote in the caption.

Besides celebrating Christmas with his family, Kershaw has used his Instagram account to share more family moments with over 716K followers. For instance, on May 13, he posted on Mother's Day, sharing several pictures of his wife and children.

Ellen and Clayton Kershaw's time together and the 2024 season along with free agency

Ellen Melson and Clayton Kershaw have known each other since high school. They started dating when they were students at Highland Park High School in University Park, Texas. The couple has been married for 14 years and has four children. Ellen and Kershaw married after 7 years of dating, on Dec. 4, 2010.

Meanwhile, the 2024 season was a difficult one for Kershaw, as he only made seven starts and was forced to exit his last game due to a toe injury on Aug. 30. Since then, he has not able to play again for the Dodgers. He posted an ERA of 4.50 in 30.0 innings, striking out 24 batters and finishing with a 2-2 record.

Kershaw is a free agent this offseason after his injury-plagued 2024 season. According to CBS News, Kershaw spent his 17-year MLB career with the Dodgers and is expected to re-sign with the team. However, he declined his $10 million player option with LA, as he decided to become a free agent.
