She left some kind comments on Bieber’s Instagram post on Sunday, featuring the fun they had during last year’s offseason. In the comments, Kara wrote:
“Big crush on ya.”
But that’s not all. Kara also expressed her feelings about spending time with the Guardian’s right-hander, writing:
“Get to do life w the coolest dude I know so ya that doesn’t suck.”
The playful but heartfelt comments underscore the love and admiration between the couple. The photos also feature Kara showing an adorable baby bump.

The couple is expecting their first child to arrive in February of this year. The arrival of baby Bieber has been a bright spot amid recovery from Tommy John surgery for Shane Bieber.
Meanwhile, Bieber has the chance to spend more quality time with this growing family before the start of the 2025 Major League season.
Shane Bieber on schedule following elbow surgery
Shane Bieber missed the majority of 2024 with Tommy John surgery. The Guardians’ ace was sidelined early in the season, eventually getting the procedure in April.
Bieber managed just two starts before being shut down. According to ESPN, Texas Rangers team doctor Keith Meister led the procedure, reportedly being pleased with the outcome.
While the news was devastating to Guardians fans, there is a silver lining. Bieber is on track to return at some point in 2025 as his recovery is on schedule. However, Bieber is anxious to get back on the mound.
Cleveland.com quoted Shane Bieber’s comments on the matter, saying:
“Looking at guys that have come back from Tommy John and done it successfully, it’s like they do it on the correct timeline and there are reasons to push and there are situations where it’s good to do that, and the risk is worth the reward.”
Bieber understands that the key to a successful recovery is following guidelines. As such, Bieber has acknowledged the fantastic job the Guardian’s medical staff has done during his recovery, saying:
“But with my time and how everything kind of adds up and towards the middle of next season, these guys have done a great job at just taking care of me. It’s a good thing that I want to push, and it’s a good thing that they want to pull me back.”
There is no clear timeline for Bieber’s return. The indication is that he should be back on the mound at some point around mid-season. With the Guardians poised for another postseason run, the team will get a huge boost from Shane Bieber’s return, likely during the second half of this upcoming season.
