Zack Wheeler: Over 5.5 -150
Phillies pitcher Zach Wheeler was nothing short of phenomenal in his last start against the Seattle Mariners on August 4. Through eight innings, the 34-year-old struck out nine hitters while not allowing a single run on two hits.
Now 11-5 with a 2.77 ERA on the season, Friday will mark Wheeler's 23rd start of the 2024 MLB season. Moreover, it will come against the D-Backs, who Wheeler has pitched to a 7-3 record against, with 77 strikeouts in 12 games.
Robbie Ray: Under 6.5 -150
Since returning from injury on July 30, San Francisco Giants pitcher and former Cy Young winner Robbie Ray has posted 23 strikeouts in 14.1 innings. Although he has allowed seven earned runs in that time, Ray has shown a command of both his breaking pitches and an ability to turn up the heat velocity-wise.
Jack Flaherty: Over 6.5 -185
After arriving in LA via a trade with the Detroit Tigers, Jack Flaherty made his MLB for the club on August 3, striking out seven members of the Oakland A's without allowing a run through six innings.
