Dylan Cease's 21 strikeouts over the past two weeks lead the MLB. The San Diego Padres starter now leads all of baseball with 159 strikeouts and has logged 122 innings already. Over his past two starts, the 28-year-old Cease has pitched 13 scoreless innings.

Chris Sale: Under 7.5 -155
Atlanta Braves starter Chris Sale will make his 19th start of the season for the Braves as they face off against the New York Mets on Thursday. Now 13-3, the veteran leads MLB in winning percentage. Moreover, Sale has allowed more than one earned run in just one of his past five starts and owns 22 strikeouts across three games against the Mets over the course of his 14-year career.
Max Scherzer: Over 5.5 -175
In six starts since coming off of the IL, Max Scherzer has shown an uncharacteristic inconsistency for Texas. However, his ability to strike out opposing hitters seems to have remained, at least somewhat.

Now 1-3 with a 3.99 ERA in six starts, the three-time Cy Young winner struck out six in four innings against the Astros on July 20, only to be chased by the O's in two innings a week later. In 25 appearances against Thursday's opponents, the White Sox, Scherzer is 14-6 with 180 strikeouts.
