Even as the MLB postseason inches closer, teams are keen to get as much as they can out of their starters. Often, that means racking up as many strikeouts as possible.
While it is difficult to predict which MLB arms will strike out the most on any given night, DraftKings Sportsbook gives us a decent idea. Using the odds provided by DraftKings, today we will be profiling the MLB pitchers with the best strikeout odds for July 24.
MLB Strikeout Prop Leaders - July 24
Aaron Nola: Under 6.5 +145
Aaron Nola will be making his 21st start of the season for the Phillies on Wednesday. In his last start against the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 19, Nola only lasted five innings after surrendering four earned runs. However, in his past two starts, Nola has managed to fan 13 batters.

Nick Pivetta: Under 6.5 -140
Over his past three starts, Red Sox pitcher Nick Pivetta has struck out 28 batters. Now 4-6 with a 3.87 ERA on the season, the Canadian pitched six scoreless innings in his last outing, allowing just two hits to the potent Los Angeles Dodgers. On Wednesday, Pivetta will make his fifth career start against the Colorado Rockies.
Hunter Brown: Over 6.5 -105
After a bumpy start to the season, Hunter Brown has emerged as one of the top arms in the Houston Astros' rotation. Brown's 110 strikeouts leads the club, and the adoption of a two-seamer in June has helped the Michigan-native log strikeouts with increased frequency. On Wednesday, Brown will face the Oakland Athletics, against whom the 24 year-old is 2-0 with a career 1.88 ERA in 4 MLB appearances.

Gerrit Cole: Under 6.5 -115
Since returning from the IL in June, Gerrit Cole has struggled, but his propensity for the strikeout is still there. Despite struggling to a 4.60 ERA thus far, Cole has registered 34 strikeouts in 29 innings. In his last start, the defending AL Cy Young Award winner spun six innings against the Rays, allowing just one earned run and striking out eight in the New York Yankees' 6-1 win last Friday.

Tyler Glasnow: Over 6.5 -145
Due to a stint on the 15-day IL due to back tightness, Wednesday's start against San Francisco will mark Tyler Glasnow's first outing since July 5. Now 8-5 with a 3.47 ERA, Glasnow's 143 strikeouts rank fifth in MLB, despite him missing significant time. Equipped with the best WHIP figure in the NL, Glasnow will seek to earn his second win of the season against the Giants.
