Kevin Gausman ($9100 on DraftKings)
After posting an AL-best 237 strikeouts last season, success has not come as easy for Kevin Gausman in 2024. Now 9-8 on the season, the Toronto Blue Jays pitcher has struggled to a 4.16 ERA.

Yusei Kikuchi ($8600 on DraftKings)
Pitcher Yusei Kikuchi will make the first start of his career for the Houston Astros on Friday. A former All-Star, Kikuchi was traded to Houston from Toronto for a collection of prospects on July 30.
Now 4-9 with a 3.75 ERA in his sixth MLB season, Kikuchi will look to turn things around for his new team. Against Tampa, Houston's opponents on Friday, Kikuchi is 5-2 with 55 strikeouts in ten career games.

Rafael Devers has been the best hitter for the Boston Red Sox this season. Through 95 games, the third baseman has hit .306/.384/.606 with 24 home runs and 69 RBIs. In his past six games, Devers' average has climbed to .480, and the 27-year-old picked up four doubles, five RBIs, and a homer in his team's recent three-game series with Seattle.

Matt Olson ($4800 on DraftKings)
Last year, Matt Olson of the Atlanta Braves became the first-ever player to lead MLB in home runs and RBIs, and miss out on winning the MVP Award. While the Braves first baseman may not be hitting up such numbers in 2023, he is still helping his team win.

New York Yankees outfielder Juan Soto continues to light it up in the Bronx. Currently the MLB walks leader with 89 of them, Soto will take his .291 career average against the Jays to Rogers Centre on Friday night.

Over his past ten games, Wilyer Abreu has a .900 OPS. The Boston Red Sox outfielder, now 25, is having a breakout season. In 81 games, the Venezuelan has hit .267/.332/.486 with nine home runs and 35 RBIs.
Jonny DeLuca ($2700 on DraftKings)
It looks like the plethora of sales completed by the Tampa Bay Rays at the deadline will give MLB sophomore Jonny DeLuca more opportunities to play. This season, the 26 year-old has hit .183 with three home runs and 20 RBIs in 61 games. However, in his past four, the former 25th round pick has hit for a .357 average.

Jorge Soler ($4400 on DraftKings)
On July 29, the Giants traded Jorge Soler to the Atlanta Braves, where he had previously played from 2021 until 2022. An outfielder with a pop in his bat, Soler was hitting .600/.667/1.000 in the week immediately preceding his trade.
