Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. wasted no time showing his power in Spring Training. On Saturday, the slugger hit an absolute no-doubter in the team's first game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The home run came at the top of the fourth inning. It was off David Bedar, who's coming off his first All-Star game appearance last year.

If this is just a preview of the season fans will get from Guerrero Jr., then the league may be in trouble. He's coming off a "down" year last season, and there's no doubt he'll be looking to bounce back.

He hit .274/.339/.480 with 32 home runs. That's a career year for most baseball players, but not Vladdy. He knows he's capable of more than that.

Here's how fans reacted to Guerrero Jr.'s home run:

It's great to have baseball back, even if it is just Spring Training. It's been a long winter for most baseball fans, so this is an exciting time.

The Toronto Blue Jays will be on a mission to make their mark on the 2023 season. They believe they have the talent to make a deep run in the postseason after a disappointing exit last year when they lost to the Seattle Mariners in the Wild Card round.

Do the Toronto Blue Jays have enough talent to make it out of the American League?

The Toronto Blue Jays are coming off a pretty successful off-season. One of their biggest acquisitions was trading for Daulton Varsho. They sent Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Gabriel Moreno to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for Varsho, an incredible player who can play catcher and the outfield.

The Blue Jays also signed starting pitcher Chris Bassitt this winter. Bassitt had a solid season for the New York Mets last year, pitching 181.2 innings and striking out a career-high 167 batters.

The Blue Jays have the talent to make a run this year, but they'll have their hands full in the division. The New York Yankees have a great roster on paper, and you can never write the Tampa Bay Rays off.

The American League East is one of the most competitive divisions in all of baseball. It will be a season-long battle to see who comes out on top in that division.
