Former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer's accuser Lindsey Hill took a swipe at the veteran hurler, who will not be part of an MLB team's roster in the postseason next month.
Lindey Hill, who accused Trevor Bauer of sexual assault in June 2021, celebrated the former Cy Young winner's absence from the MLB after the deadline for postseason eligibility ended on August 31.
"Deadline to be post season eligible has officially passed. We’re going on year number 3 of 30 MLB teams standing up to keep this degenerate abuser out of the league! MLB continues to make the message loud & clear, truth wins and women deserve to be protected, seen & heard," Hill captioned her post.
Hill's post comes in light of Trever Bauer and his agent Rachel Luba's continued efforts to make a return to the major league. Despite their campaigns, MLB teams have overlooked the pitcher since a record suspension was sanctioned in 2021.
Although Hill and Bauer's legal battle was settled outside of court in 2023, Hill has been actively campaigning against the former Dodgers pitcher's return to MLB.
Trevor Bauer continues his LMB campaign with Diablos Rojos
As MLB teams ignore Trevor Bauer's resume and credentials the former Cy Young winner continues to impress for Mexican League team Diablos Rojos del México. He initially signed for six games, before the team extended him for the rest of the season after his string of impressive performances.
Bauer displayed his credentials by setting a Mexican League record for strikeouts in a game against the Guerreros de Oaxaca where he registered a remarkable 19 strikeouts.
Bauer was impressive in his latest outing for the Diablos Rojos in the third game of the Kings Series against the Sultanes de Monterrey on Saturday. The former MLB All-Star went six innings deep without conceding a run and strikeout out four hitters on just 67 pitches.
However, the game was called off due to persistent rain as Bauer's impressive performance from the mound went in vain. Bauer's parents, Warren and Kathy, were present at the ballpark to support their son and the former shared a heartfelt post to acknowledge their presence.
