Former MLB shortstop and World Series champion Ozzie Guillen once disclosed his hatred for Nick Swisher, claiming the former New York Yankees star had a "fake attitude."
Swisher is a former outfielder and first baseman who has played for several teams, including the Yankees and Chicago White Sox. Swisher spent one season with Chicago (2008) and apparently did not get along with Guillen, who was managing the team at the time.
After a game in 2020, when an NBC Sports Chicago host asked whether he disliked Carlos Gomez or Swisher more, Guillén replied:
"Oh my God, nobody can compare that with Nick Swisher. I hate Nick Swisher with my heart. I never talked to him, I was managing him, but I don't like the way his attitude was all fake," Guillén said. "And I don't like fake people. I think he hates me back, there's nothing wrong with that."
Yeah so @OzzieGuillen really didn't hold back when discussing Nick Swisher - White Sox Talk
Guillen was definitely not fond of Swisher, but the All-Star was loved by many.
Ozzie Guillen & Nick Swisher are both World Series champions
Swisher was a left-handed pitcher (and switch-hitter) who played for the Cleveland Indians, Atlanta Braves, Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, and New York Yankees.
He was an All-Star in 2010 and helped the Yankees defeat the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2009 World Series. Swisher, a powerful hitter with superb plate discipline, reached 75 bases on balls seven times between 2005 and 2013. He hit at least 20 home runs in nine straight seasons.

Guillén, meanwhile, was revered as a player for his fervor, quickness, hustling, intensity, defensive skills, and contagious love of the game. Guillen led the Chicago White Sox to their first World Series title in 88 years in 2005, making him the first Latino manager in major league history to do so.
