The Baltimore Orioles have suffered yet another blow to their pitching staff as Kyle Bradish has been forced to undergo season-ending Tommy John Surgery. O's GM Mike Elias announced that Bradish underwent a successful surgery, which included an internal bracing procedure.

Unfortunately for Bradish, the procedure means that he will miss the remainder of this season and a chunk of the 2025 campaign.

The season-ending injury to Kyle Bradish is just the latest in the growing list of pitchers sidelined for the Baltimore Orioles. Other injured pitchers include John Means, Dean Kremer, and Tyler Wells. The Bradish injury may force the team to explore further reinforcements outside the organization.

Three replacements for Kyle Bradish in the Baltimore Orioles rotation

#1 - Jesus Luzardo

Jesus Luzardo is one of the most likely pitchers to be moved this summer. The Miami Marlins southpaw still has two years of arbitration eligibility, which could make him an intriguing addition to the Orioles since he would not be considered a rental. The Orioles have a plethora of prospects, which could make a deal easy to come by.

#2 - Garrett Crochet

Garrett Crochet has been one of the biggest surprises of the season. The Chicago White Sox starter has been electric this season, and there is a chance that they would regret moving on from him. Like Luzardo, the 24-year-old has two years of arbitration eligibility remaining, making him a potential long-term option for the Orioles. Given his strikeout abilities, he could be a massive addition to the O's.

#3 - Yusei Kikuchi

The Baltimore Orioles have some important contract issues that they may need to address this offseason, which could make the idea of a rental pitcher more intriguing. Enter Yusei Kikuchi, who is in the final year of his current deal. The Toronto Blue Jays may find themselves becoming sellers this summer, and Kikuchi could be one of their candidates to be on the move.

Yusei Kikuchi could be a solid replacement for Kyle Bradish in the Orioles rotation. So far this season, the Blue Jays starter has posted a 4-6 record with a 3.65 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 83 strikeouts. Given his age and contract, Kikuchi could come at a cheaper price than Crochet and Luzardo.
