Trea Vance Turner is an American professional baseball player, currently serving as the shortstop for the Philadelphia Phillies in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on June 30, 1993, in Boynton Beach, Florida, Trea Turner is the son of Mark and Donna Turner. He grew up with his older sister, Teal Turner. He is married to Kristen Harabedian, whom he met at North Carolina State University (NC State).

Trea Turner kicked off his Major League Baseball (MLB) career with the Washington Nationals in June 2015, after honing skills in the minors with the San Diego Padres.
