Dolph Schayes was a 12-time All-Star, 6-time All-NBA First Team selection and 6-time All-NBA Second Team selection. He is one of the early superstars of the 76ers franchise. He was a prolific scorer and rebounder and is the franchise leader on the list of total rebounds.

He was part of the team that won the NBA championship in 1955, playing a key role with 18.5 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He played in 996 games during his NBA career and averaged 18.5 points, 12.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
