Simmons is currently averaging 17.6 points per game, 9.3 rebounds per game, and 7.6 assists per game so far this season. His stats clearly reflect that he has played like a Point Guard while having a physical appearance and strength of a Small/Power Forward.
While he was doubted by many when he was sidelined in the previous season, but he has shown the amount of toughness he has in himself and the desire to become great. Till now he has recorded 3 triple-doubles which shows how much he is prepared for every challenge the opposing team presents in front of him and can carry his team for a win.
