Top 10 Shot Blocking Guards in the NBA right now

2014 NBA Finals - Game Four
Is Dwyane Wade still the no.1 shot blocking guard in the league?

#7 Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson is one of the better perimeter defenders in the league right now and picks up Stephen Curry's slack on the defensive end. Although Curry has improved significantly on the defense, still Klay defends the best perimeter player on the team.

Since Kevin Durant has joined the Golden State Warriors, his blocks numbers have dropped. In 2016-17 he only had 40 blocks, which still is decent for a guard but less for a player of Thompson's caliber. His career best is 60 blocks in a season, which he got in the 2014-15 season. He is currently averaging 0.6 blocks per game and is on pace for 50 blocks this season.
