Surprise Surprise! We have the Suns' small forward TJ Warren as our third best transition scorer in the NBA right now!
2014th NBA draft's 14th pick is one of the best scorers around the rim and has been a high volume efficient scorer in transition for the past 2 years. Lacking a jump shot is his biggest weakness, which makes him just above average player in general, but when it's about transition, he is unstoppable. His and-1% has increased from 4.5 to 7.4! That is good for the second-best in the league! (Minimum 3ppg, behind Jonathan Simmons)
It's a good thing that Warren has a lot of time to improve. Maybe he will develop a jump shot or Suns will bring shooters around him in the future giving him space in the paint. Will be interesting to see it in the future.
