Serbia, Lithuania, France and Ukraine claimed the top four positions respectively in Group E and entered the quarterfinals of the 38th edition of the FIBA Europe Championship for Men, better known as 2013 EuroBasket.
After the completion of the second round, Belgium and Latvia crashed out from Group E and the championship. There were six teams each in Group E and F and the top four teams from each group advanced.

Latvia 56-60 Belgium
Despite beating Latvia 60-56 in their last match of the second round of the championship, Belgium crashed out.
Latvia took the first quarter 15-14 while Belgium took second and third quarter 18-17 and 14-10 respectively. The last quarter was tie with both teams scoring 14 points each.
Rolands Freimanis scored 10 points for Latvia while Sacha Massot netted game high 14 points for Belgium. With the loss, Latvia also crashed out of the championship.
Ukraine 63-70 Lithuania
Lithuania defeated Ukraine 70-63 to capture second position in Group E and enter the quarterfinals.
Lithuania took the first quarter 18-13 while Ukraine took the second quarter 17-14. The third quarter was tie with both teams scoring 16 points each while Lithuania took the last quarter 22-17.
Despite the loss, Ukraine entered the quarterfinal of the championship claiming fourth position in Group E.
Sergii Gladyr netted game-high 18 points for Ukraine while Linas Kleiza top scored with 15 points for winning side.
Serbia 77-65 France
Serbia beat France 77-65 to top Group E as both teams entered the quarterfinals.
Serbia took all four quarters 19-17, 19-14, 22-20 and 17-14 respectively to win the match.
Nenad Krstic netted game-high 19 points for Serbia while four players, Nicolas Batum, Nando De Colo, Alexis Ajinca and Boris Diaw all netted 12 points while Tony Parker scored 10 points for France.

The top six teams from 2013 EuroBasket – excluding Spain, as they have already qualified as hosts – will get their ticket to the 2014 FIBA World Cup. 24 European nations are participating at the ongoing event.
