2015-16 NBA Finals: Livingston, Green help Warriors take 1-0 lead

Shaun Livingston was the start for the defeinding champs

At the end of the night, you can’t perhaps sure as to how the Golden State Warriors will be feeling at the moment. The defending champs won the opening game of the 2016 NBA Finals 104-89 at the Oracle Arena but did so minus a significant contribution from their talisman Stephen Curry.

It was instead the likes of Shaun Livingston, Draymond Green, Harrison Barnes and Andre Iguodala, who contributed a total of 59 points on the night as compared to just 12 from the MVP as the Warriors got their campaign off to a good start.

There was no such issues for the Cavaliers as LeBron James was again the star with 23 points along with Kyrie Irving who netted in the most number of points from either team with 26 points, but their effort went in vain as the visitors lost by a margin of 15 points.
