Predictions for the Season
While all the attention is focused on the Lakers this season, outside of the Golden State Warriors, due to the LeBron James factor, the Rockets could be spared from the pressure of being a heavy favorite to dethrone the Warriors, thanks to their unimpressive off-season shake-up and silently working their way to the top while no one is looking.
In my opinion, depending on how well Carmelo Anthony blends in with Houston’s main guys and how well LeBron could carry the Lakers in his shoulders, the Rockets could win 55-60 games this season and make a return to the Western Conference finals, although they would still fall short.
