Isaiah Thomas didn't feature in preseason as he nursed a thumb injury, and the veteran was expected to miss the opening few weeks of the season. Nevertheless, Fred Katz of The Athletic is reporting that Thomas is well ahead of schedule and is now in contention to feature in Wednesday's season opener against Dallas.
