After missing six of his first seven shots, the 7th overall pick for the Bulls, Coby White finished the contest with 17 points, three assists, three rebounds in 30 minutes. Daniel Gafford's solid double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds saw Chicago through to a convincing win over the Lakers. Zach Norwell Jr. led the Lakers with 15 points.

Despite White's threes not falling, his quickness and ability to finish at the rim made a notable impact throughout the game. Meanwhile, Nick Perkins - the undrafted free-agent power forward - tallied 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals for LA.
