The final day of the 2024 NBA Cup group stage defined the group winners and which teams will continue playing in the knockout round. The Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks, Toronto Raptors, OKC Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Denver Nuggets and LA Clippers secured wins to close out the first part of the in-season tournament.
After the final regular-season fixture, eight teams (four per conference) will stay in the tournament to try to make it to Las Vegas and win the second edition of the competition (the first under the "NBA Cup" denomination).

After Tuesday's games, the six group winners and two wild card teams were set. The group stage came up with some surprises, notably the elimination of the defending NBA champions Boston Celtics or the first NBA Cup champions, the LA Lakers.

The four teams that made it to the next round in the East are the New York Knicks (Group A winner), the Milwaukee Bucks (Group B winner), Atlanta Hawks (Group C winner) and the Orlando Magic (wild card). On the other end, the Houston Rockets (Group A winner), OKC Thunder (Group B winner), Golden State Warriors (Group C winner) and Dallas Mavericks (wild card) advanced to the knockout stage.

2024 NBA Cup: Knockout matchups and schedule
Depending on their performance during the group stage, each team was assigned a seed, the No. 1 being the best in the conference. That said, the Milwaukee Bucks will host the Orlando Magic at Fiserv Forum on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. ET. The Atlanta Hawks will visit the New York Knicks on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. ET.
In the West, the OKC Thunder will clash against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 9:30 p.m. ET while the Houston Rockets will clash against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
The four winners of these duels will advance to the semifinals of the tournament and will travel to Las Vegas to try to reach the championship game. The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 14 at 4:30 p.m. ET and 8:30 p.m. ET. The championship game is set for Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
