In the world of basketball, countries can be ranked in two ways. One is the convention of checking their Olympic standings and the other is by looking at the number of players from that country that have been drafted into and made a mark at the NBA.

Interestingly Brazil is both not horrible at the Olympics, but also has 4 drafted players on this team. Whether it may be just in their culture, but Brazil has proven itself another country that has a hard time looking past football, leaving another glorious sport in the dust. The NBA can tap into the potential of this country of athletes by setting up camps and maybe even bringing some games here and to the rest of South America.

In addition to this, the NBA camps being currently being set up in Senegal, Africa is a great step on the part of the NBA. These camps have provided a space to learn lots for many kids in many different countries and Senegal is a place where they need these spaces most. The potential in Africa is unlimited and the NBA is doing the right thing by helping discover it.
